At Flying Pig Designs, we believe that every gift should tell a story and convey heartfelt emotions.
Flying Pig Designs was inspired by my lifelong affection for pigs. Having four boys meant not much pink in our household. However, when I came across images of four adorable flying pigs, it was clear they had to be part of my new venture. Flying pigs symbolize dreaming, creativity, whimsy, and fun, which are the core values of my business.
My husband gifted me a laser machine, knowing my passion for crafting and personalizing gifts for friends and family. This inspired me to start a business focused on creating personalized items in my "spare time."
I'm excited to craft designs that will create enduring memories for you and your loved ones.

About Me
First and foremost, I'm the mom of 4 boys! But I also wear multiple other hats & am very involved in my community. I volunteer for the Parent Booster Clubs as the President at DGS & Treasurer at both DVMS & DHS. I also volunteer Coach the DGS Running Club. My husband, Jeff, and I try to give back to our community by volunteering at our boys' school & sports teams on a regular basis.
In a past life I was a Design Engineer at Caterpillar, and then a SAHM until my youngest started kindergarten. Now I work several part time jobs. One of those includes subbing for the Dunlap schools. I am also involved in the swimming community. I work part time as the DHS Assistant Swim Coach for the Girls & Boys teams. I am the Head Coach for the Arrowhead Country Club Swim Team in the Summer and I am the Membership Manager for the Dunlap Dolphin Swim Team.
When I'm not working or volunteering, I like to spend my time with my family. We stay busy with our favorite activities: running/XC, swimming, soccer, obstacle races, orchestra, chess, reading, hiking, camping, & traveling!
